Houston Computer Works is now Open for Business
Goodwill Industries of Houston launched the Reconnect computer recycling project and computer store for greater Houston area.
Offering the Houston community a FREE computer recycling program, computer systems and software can be dropped off at any 17 Goodwill retail store or 32 donation centers in the greater Houston area. Residents can find a drop-off location at www.goodwillhouston.org.
The Houston Computer Works store provides affordable computer hardware and software as well as house the de-manufacturing process of computer systems for the Reconnect recycling.

Houston Computer Works
In March of 2008, Goodwill Industries of Houston opened their Computer Works store at 12230 Westheimer in Pavilion Center. Offering convenience to consumers, computer systems and software donations can be dropped off at any 16 Goodwill retail stores or 32 donation centers in the greater Houston area.
The new Computer Works store will work in alliance with Dell Reconnect at the same location to accept all computers and peripheral devices for responsible disposal and recycling.
This relationship is being spread across the country bringing technology minded buyers and earth friendly disposal services together to create a dynamic relationship. The program goals are to divert millions of pounds of used computers and computer equipment from area landfills; and provide consumer education on the importance of environmentally-responsible computer disposal.
